Burton Baton

Dogfish hit a home run here, an Imperial IPA blended with a English Style Pale Ale gives this beer a great balance of both malty and citrusy hoppy flavors. These beers are brewed separately then blended together. After blended, they are aged on oak which gives some vanilla notes. This is my favorite beer that I have tried to this date. Whenever I see this beer it is a must have!

Full Sail Wassail, Winter Ale
This is really a nice northwest winter ale, brewed in Portland, it has everything that you could want. It has a nice hoppy characteristic but also has the malty tones that are ideal for the colder weather. It pours a dark amber in color with a nice lacing on the glass. A nice Hop flavor hits your tongue followed by the Carmely and chocolaty malt deliciousness. All in all a good beer. Im a lover of Winter ales. Tuesday, December 21, 2010
Fat Cat " We gottit made"
The 2 best things about this beer is, 1. My new affliction with canned craft beer. 2. This can has an old school cartoon cat with a cigarette in its mouth. Everything else about this beer was pretty avg. But hey its a Fl craft beer in a can so it got a bonus point from me.Friday, December 17, 2010
You have to start somewhere...

Found a 6 pack of "Big Flats" for $2.99 at the store by Genesse Brewing in Rochester, NY. I could help myself possibly finding a possible diamond in the ruff. Well this was just a piece of charcoal, no good. But I figure if you start at the bottom you can only go up!
National Growler Day
Today, over at BeerMapping.com decided to declare the day – National Growler Day! Why today? The question is, why not today? Nothing better than having a great beer from the directly from your local brewery. And making National Growler Day on a Friday is always a great idea because you're usually going to have some beer left over for great December football.
